Jim Hall's #65 Chaparral is about to lap Jack Ryan's #68 Porsche 904 and Bill Allen's #13 Elva-BMW.
Start of the Formula race. #16 Whit Tharin is on the pole.
This shot shows the Porsche transport truck. Shelby American showed up with a similar rig. While common today, these were only seen with the very top teams in 1964. In the shade, next to the semi trailer, can be seen the Elva-Porsches of #77 Charlie Hayes and #76 Don Wester. The #13 Formcar of James Place is in the foreground.
This pic was taken from one of Greenwood's pedestrian bridges, near the infield concessions stand, looking west. There were quite a few spectator cars parked on the grounds. Highway 65 can be seen in the distance.
USRRC trophy presentation ceremony. The Kendall Oils spectator bridge across the main straightaway is visible in the background.
A Lotus 23 being serviced in the paddock. If you look closely, you can see a "Dan Gurney for President" bumper sticker on the door to the Shelby American trailer.
